Suited and Booted – “To Be Different Remastered”
With “To Be Different Remastered”, released on April 20, 2026, Suited and Booted return with a renewed version of a song dedicated to the value of individuality. The duo, formed by Terry Jones and Terry Bunton, presents the song as an invitation to embrace what makes us different in a world that often pushes people to follow the crowd.
The message is direct, positive and universal. “To Be Different” does not seek conceptual complexity at all costs, but works on a simple and necessary idea: being different is not a defect, but a possibility. In a social context that often tends towards homologation, a song of this type takes on the value of a small pop manifesto on authenticity.
The remastered version adds a richer and fresher sound to the song. This detail is important, because it is not just a matter of re-proposing an existing track, but of updating it, giving it more presence, strengthening its impact and making it more effective for new listening. The fact that the song has gained attention in the Groover charts dedicated to indie pop and other contexts also confirms a good ability to reach the public.
The strength of Suited and Booted lies in the clarity of communication. Their pop does not hide behind forced ambiguities: it aims at sharing, immediacy, the construction of a positive message. “To Be Different Remastered” works precisely because it manages to talk in a simple way about a theme that is not simple. Accepting one’s difference requires courage, especially when conformism prevails around one.
The song fits well into the October editorial because it brings a different light than other more obscure or introspective proposals. Where some artists work on the night, melancholy or tension, Suited and Booted choose the path of personal affirmation. It is a difference in tone that enriches the selection.
“To Be Different Remastered” is therefore a bright, inclusive and sincere pop track, built around a message that retains full relevance: you don’t necessarily have to look like others to find your place.
